ISHINN PONGAM CAKE (Pongamia glabra) |
- The Cake Left after extraction of oil from Pongamia glabra seeds is excellent organic manure. It has high nitrogen content (4.2% Nitrogen, 0.9% Phosphorus and 2% Potassium).
- It can be applied either as a Basal or Top dressing and provides the crop with essential nutrients, while significantly reducing the number of oil insect Pests, Fungi, Bacteria and Nematodes.

- Fork into the soil at the base of plants.
- A combination of neem cake and Pongam cake has been seen to increase yield in field trials.

| Dosage and Method of Application |
200 kgs per acre. It can be applied along with any organic fertilizer. It should be applied either before sowing of seeds or planting of seedlings.
Ishinn Pongam cake can also mixed with soil and applied around the roots of existing plants,. Pongam Cake can be applied safely in all cultures, fruit-bearing, horticulture garden products, Melon, cotton, tobacco, Vineyard and Flowers. |
